Floor Flatness

More and more developers, building owners and large warehouse facility operators are requiring very flat and level floors because of computer systems, forklift traffic and other individual building requirements. As a result, the American Concrete Institute and Canadian Standards Association developed a standard for the specification and measurement of floor flatness and levelness. F-Numbers now replace the familiar 1/8 inch per 10 foot level specifications typically used in the past.

CTL provides our clients with floor flatness and floor levelness testing using our modern state-of-the-art Dipstick 2000 floor profilers manufactured by FACE Companies. With its computer base, we are able to perform the floor flatness and/or floor levelness testing and immediately generate a report based on our findings. This allows the contractor pouring the slabs to make adjustments quickly in his placement and finishing techniques. Our technicians have attended FACE training courses and are certified to utilize this equipment.
