Our concrete laboratory can perform compressive strength testing on cylinders for concrete and grout, and on cubes for mortar as well as tensile (flexural) strength testing on cylinders and beams for concrete. Testing is performed per ASTM standards and per American Concrete Institute (ACI) requirements.
Other job specific testing can also be performed as required by the project scope of work. Our laboratory facility includes calibrated equipment consisting of 400,000 lbs and 250,000 lbs capacity load frames and a 380sf moisture and temperature controlled cure room per ACI requirements.
Our staff is ACI certified as Laboratory Testing Technician Grade I and II and Strength Testing Technician. The laboratory is certified by the Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL-AMRL) and US Army Corps of Engineers. Testing is performed for cylinders and cubes cast by our field staff when performing concrete placement inspections or for cylinders and cubes cast by others.
